Step 1: In a large re-sealable bag, combine vinegar, garlic, syrup, onions, whiskey, cloves, salt & pepper. Gently add orange chunks.
Step 2: Trim excess fat from steak. Cut into 1" cubes & add to the bag. Seal tightly & refrigerate for at least 30 min (or overnight).
Step 3: Remove bag from fridge & reserve marinade for basting.
Step 4: Thread steak & orange chunks onto metal or soaked wooden skewers. Place skewers on a greased grill over med-high heat. Close lid & cook 4-5 min per side or until browned but still pink inside (baste w/reserved marinade at least once during grilling & discard marinade when cooking is completed).
