Step 1: In medium heavy-bottomed saucepan, combine all dry ingredients very well. Gradually add in whole milk whisking until well combined. Cook whisking slowly over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil, then continue boiling for around 1 minute.
Step 2: Remove from heat then stir in butter until incorporated.
Step 3: Divide the mixture into serving dishes or into a baked (cooled) 9-inch pie crust.
Step 4: Cover with Plastic wrap. Place in the refrigerator for 4-6 hours or until firm.
Step 5: Top with sweetened whip cream before serving.
