Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 (9-inch) pie crust (baked)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 tablespoons corn starch
  • 1 pint fresh strawberries (red, ripe)
  • 1 can (12 ounce) 7−UP (not the sugar-free)
  • Whipped cream

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a medium sized sauce pan combine sugar, cornstarch, and 7−UP until creamy. Cook over a medium to a medium high heat until the mixture

  • Step 2: Becomes thick. When this mixture becomes thick, cool to room temperature, and add a couple of drops of red food coloring.

  • Step 3: Wash, and cut strawberries into quarters, or smaller depending on how large they are.

  • Step 4: Sprinkle a teaspoon or two of sugar on the strawberries, and place them into the baked shell.

  • Step 5: Pour the cooled 7−Up mixture over the strawberries. Allow this

  • Step 6: To set for a few minutes.

  • Step 7: Serve with plenty of Whipped Cream.
