Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 20 ounces whole almonds
  • 3 Tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun Seasoning (or pepper combination listed below)
  • 1 teaspoon Sea Salt (or other coarse salt)
  • 8 ounces dried, sweetened cranberries
We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350F (180C or gas mark 4).

  • Step 2: In a bowl toss the almonds, butter, sugar, and Cajun seasoning (Cajun seasoning substitute: 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper and 1/4 teaspoon white pepper).

  • Step 3: Pour the nut and spice mixture onto a rimmed baking sheet. Roast, stirring occasionally until nuts are one shade darker - about 25 minutes. *Note - the time may be less if you are using almonds that are already roasted.

  • Step 4: Remove from the oven and sprinkle with salt; stir. Set aside to cool. When cool toss the nuts with the cranberries.

  • Step 5: Will last 1 week at room temperature and up to 3 months in the freezer.
