  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter (melted)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup raisins
  • 3/4 cup pecan nuts (chopped)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  • Step 2: Line baking sheets with parchment paper.

  • Step 3: In a bowl mix first three ingredients (flour - baking soda) together.

  • Step 4: In a large bowl whisk sugar and butter together using an electric mixer (1 minute) and then whisk in egg and vanilla. Stir in dry ingredients and then stir in the raisins and nuts.

  • Step 5: Drop dough by teaspoonfuls onto baking sheets.

  • Step 6: Bake for 12-15 minutes.

  • Step 7: Let cool on racks.
