Step 1: Slice sausage into 3/4 inch thick slices.
Step 2: Cut potatoes into cubes 1 1/2 to 2 inch pieces.
Step 3: Dice or slice red pepper.
Step 4: Melt butter over medium heat.
Step 5: Add onion and garlic, cook and stir 5 minutes or until onion is translucent.
Step 6: Stir in sausage and oregano and cook 5 minutes.
Step 7: Stir in potatoes, and add salt and pepper to taste, mix well
Step 8: Transfer to crock-pot or slow cooker.
Step 9: Cover and cook on low 6 to 8 hours or on high 3 to 4 hours stirring every hour.
Step 10: Add cabbage and bell pepper last 30 minutes of cooking.
Step 11: Top with Parmesan cheese before serving.
