  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (regular-size)
  • 1 package (8 ounce) cream cheese (at room temperature/250 grams)
  • 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup mini chocolate chips
  • FOR COATING TRUFFLES
  • Medium desiccated sweetened coconut
  • Sprinkles
  • Chocolate graham crumbs

How to Make

  • Step 1: Melt 1/2 cup regular-size chocolate chips in a double boiler.

  • Step 2: Meanwhile, using an electric mixer, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add icing sugar, graham crumbs, vanilla and salt, and blend well. Mix in the melted chocolate and 1/3 cup mini chocolate chips. Cool mixture in the freezer until firm (about 2 minutes).

  • Step 3: Hand-roll into balls the size of large marbles. Toss balls in coconut, sprinkles or graham crumbs until well coated.

  • Step 4: Return to freezer and chill thoroughly, about 15 min., or until ready to serve or wrap up.
