Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Step 2: Wash green beans throughout and drain. Snip stem edge of each green bean and place in a 9 x 13 (3 Qt.)" casserole dish (such as pyrex).
Step 3: In a small saucepan, add water, beef bouillons, salt, garlic powder and black pepper.
Step 4: Let come to a rapid boil until bouillons are fully dissolved. Mix to distribute all seasonings.
Step 5: Pour seasoned water evenly over beans. Dot with bacon fat.
Step 6: Cover tightly with aluminum foil being careful not to leave any gaps so that steam can't escape.
Step 7: Place in oven and bake for 45 - 60 minutes or until tender.
Step 8: To serve, remove hot beans from pyrex with tongs. (The seasoned water isn't meant to serve with the beans).
