Step 1: Preheat oven to 350F. Coat a 9 x 5 inch loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray.
Step 2: Peel and mash banana in a medium mixing bowl.
Step 3: Add egg, vanilla, oil, milk, yogurt and sugar and mix until combined.
Step 4: In a large bowl, sift flour, spices, soda, baking powder and salt.
Step 5: Stir wet mix into dry mix until just combined.
Step 6: Stir in cranberries and ginger.
Step 7: Pour batter into prepared pan and bake 1 hour, or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
Step 8: Cool in pan 10 minutes and turn out onto wire rack to cool completely.
