Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 pounds fresh shrimp ( large shrimp, peeled, deviened and butterflied to the tail but leave tails on)
  • 1/2 cup melted butter (or 1 stick)
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons dried oregano (or Italian seasoning)
  • 2 lemons (squeeze the juice out of one, then slice the second lemon into thin slices)
  • 2 teaspoons Old Bay with Garlic & Herb Seasoning (NO SUBSTITUTIONS!)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • Pepper

How to Make

  • Step 1: Combine the melted butter with lemon juice, oregano, Old Bay seasoning and salt whisking well for a few seconds until well combined.

  • Step 2: Add in shrimp and mix together gently and coating thoroughly.

  • Step 3: Place a piece of heavy duty aluminum foil over a 15.25" x 10.25" sheet pan, then layer the top of the foil evenly with lemon slices.

  • Step 4: Place the coated shrimp on top of the lemon slices until the entire tray is filled. Sprinkle some black pepper over the top.

  • Step 5: Position oven rack to second-lowest position.

  • Step 6: Preheat oven to 350 degree.

  • Step 7: Bake shrimp for 12 -15 minutes.

  • Step 8: Serve with lemon wedges.
