Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 3 (10 ounce) packages frozen pearl onions, (if you want to use fresh by all means)
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/3 cup tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 sprigs fresh thyme
  • 3 sprigs fresh rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

How to Make

  • Step 1: Onions ... In a medium bowl, add the olive oil, balsamic, honey, thyme, rosemary, salt and pepper and mix well. Add the onions and toss to combine.

  • Step 2: Bake ... Add the onions to a 13x9 baking dish and spread them out as much as possible, then cover with foil. Bake in a 350 degree oven on the middle shelf for 20-25 minutes. Uncover, mix again, recover and bake another 20-25 minutes, until golden brown and tender.

  • Step 3: Serve ... Great with just about anything. I love it with roasted or braised meats or slow cooked meats. True comfort food. Also wonderful for entertaining. Very easy to make. ENJOY!
