Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 1/2 cup dry grits
  • 6 cups water, boiling
  • 2 teaspoons seasoned salt
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3 large eggs (beaten)
  • 8 ounces longhorn cheese (cubed)
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cook grits in boiling water 5 minutes to package directions.

  • Step 2: Stir in seasoning and butter.

  • Step 3: Stir 3 T hot grits into beaten eggs tempering them, then add to hot grits.

  • Step 4: Add cheese stirring constantly .

  • Step 5: Pour into 2 quart souffle dish. Sprinkle with paprika

  • Step 6: Chill covered overnight.

  • Step 7: Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  • Step 8: Bake 1 1/2 hours.
