Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 (3 1/2 pound) fresh whole chicken
  • 1 (6 pound) fresh turkey breast
  • 3 stalks celery, chopped
  • 1 yellow onion (chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 4 chicken bouillon cubes
  • 8 cans (6 ounce) refrigerated biscuits (buttermilk biscuits, cut in 1/4's)
  • 10 cups water

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cook the chicken and turkey breast with the water and veggies bouillon and pepper for 1 hour until falling off bone tender. Remove from broth and debone and de skin.

  • Step 2: Chop meat unto small pieces.

  • Step 3: Bring broth to a rolling boil. Add quartered biscuits and add pieces one at a time. Return broth to a boil, reduce heat. Cover cook 14 minutes.

  • Step 4: Mix with meat and serve.

  • Step 5: Meat and broth can be frozen in smaller quantities to use later.
