Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 hard-boiled eggs, shelled
  • 1 slice salami, sliced thick
  • 2 small broccoli florets
  • 4 raisins
  • 1 cube cheese

How to Make

  • Step 1: Remove a thin slice from the side of the egg, so the egg will not roll over; this will be the bottom of the mouse.

  • Step 2: Slice the salami down the middle.

  • Step 3: Cut 2 thin slices, lengthwise, from the inside of each salami half, this will be the tails.

  • Step 4: Cut the halves in two, this will be the ears.

  • Step 5: At the small part of the egg and in the center, cut a small slit, just big enough to insert the broccoli floret, this is the nose.

  • Step 6: Just above the nose, cut two holes for the raisins to be inserted, this will be the eyes.

  • Step 7: Starting at the smaller part of the egg, where the nose is, cut two slits on each side, 1/3 of the way down the egg and insert two triangular pieces of salami, this will be the ears.

  • Step 8: Slice cheese cube in half crosswise to form two cheese triangles, one for each mouse.

  • Step 9: Plate mice on a dark platform and decorate with cheese pieces and serve.
