Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup club soda
  • 1/2 large egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/8 cup oat bran
  • 1/8 cup cream of wheat
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons malt powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup chopped pecans

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat griddle or pan to medium-high.

  • Step 2: Combine milk, club soda, egg, vanilla and honey in blender.

  • Step 3: In small bowl, whisk remaining ingredients except pecans, add dry ingredients to blender.

  • Step 4: Lightly brush griddle with oil and pour 1/4 cup batter for each pancake. Sprinkle pecans on top.

  • Step 5: Once large bubbles form and begin to pop, turn pancakes and cook until golden brown on other side.

  • Step 6: Serve immediately or keep on oven-proof plate in oven at 170 degrees.
