How to Make

  • Step 1: In a large skillet, heat apple juice to simmering.

  • Step 2: Add sweet potato slices, spreading evenly. Cook, covered, over medium-low heat about 12 minutes or until nearly tender.

  • Step 3: Stir in apple, cranberries, maple syrup, and salt. Cook, covered, over low heat for 3 to 4 minutes more or until apple is just tender. Uncover; boil gently about 4 minutes more or until liquid is syrupy.

  • Step 4: Sprinkle with nuts.
