Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 pound ground pork sausage (Bob Evans Savory Sage or Original Recipe Sausage Roll)
  • 4 large garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 large yellow onion, diced (or 2 medium)
  • 3 stalks celery, diced
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground pepper (can use more)
  • 1 package (14 ounce) cubed stuffing
  • 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a large skillet over medium heat, crumble sausage. Add minced garlic, onion, celery and black pepper. Cook, stirring until sausage is browned.

  • Step 2: In a large bowl, place cubed stuffing. Mix in the cooked sausage mixture. Sprinkle the top with poultry seasoning.

  • Step 3: Preheat oven to 350F. Butter a 9 x 12 inch baking dish.

  • Step 4: In a bowl combine room temperature broth with melted butter and garlic powder. Drizzle evenly over the top. Using your hands gently toss to combine.

  • Step 5: Baking dish. cover with foil.

  • Step 6: Bake at 350F for 45 minutes. NOTE: if you like a more crispy top then uncover the last 10 minutes to allow the top to crisp up.
