Step 1: Heat oven to 325 degrees.
Step 2: In a large bowl, Beat ½ cup powdered sugar, butter and vanilla until light and fluffy.
Step 3: Add the flour and pecans and mix until dough holds together.
Step 4: Shape into 1-inch balls. and place 1-inch apart on a parchment lined cookie sheet.
Step 5: Bake 15-20 minutes or until set but NOT browned.
Step 6: Immediately remove from cookie sheet; cool slightly.
Step 7: Add a little powdered sugar to a dish or plate and roll the cookies in them.
Step 8: Cool the cookies completely and roll them a second time in powdered sugar.
Step 9: Store in a airtight container.
