Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 2 cups corn
  • 16 ounces kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 15 ounce can of tomatoes, diced or stewed
  • 10 ounce can of nacho cheese soup, undiluted
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon seasoning salt
  • 1 cup uncooked instant rice
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • Pepper to taste

How to Make

  • Step 1: Brown ground beef with the onion. Drain grease.

  • Step 2: Transfer meat to a dutch oven, and stir in veggies, tomatoes, soup, water, beans, oregano and salt.

  • Step 3: Bring mixture to a boil and stir in the rice.

  • Step 4: Cover and simmer until rice is tender. About 5 minutes.

  • Step 5: Sprinkle the top with cheese, when melted, serve!
