Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • MEATBALLS
  • 1 pound extra-lean ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon MSG
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 small yellow onion (minced)
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • SAUCE
  • 1/2 small yellow onion (minced)
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/2 garlic clove
  • 1/2 whole lemon (juiced)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Combine meatball ingredients and form into 1" balls. Put on broiler pan in oven set at 400 degrees for 10-12 minutes, flipping meatballs over halfway through cooking time.

  • Step 2: Turn crockpot to high and add sauce ingredients, stir.

  • Step 3: Add meatballs to crock pot, stir gently to evenly coat, then cover and turn down to low for 4-6 hours.
