Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 1/2 pound beef sirloin (steak, thick-cut and boneless)
  • MARINADE
  • 1/3 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oil (vegetable oil)
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 to 1 teaspoon seasoning salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
  • KABOBS
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 1 sweet onion
  • 12 baby bella mushrooms
  • 1 can (20 ounce) pineapple chunks
  • 12 cherry tomatoes (I don't use)
We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: Chop steak into square chunks a little over 1" thick. If you're defrosting the steak, cut it up when it's still partially frozen, it's easier that way.

  • Step 2: Combine marinade ingredients in a ziplock bag and place steak cubes inside. Seal and squish around for the meat is well coated, then place in fridge overnight.

  • Step 3: Soak wooden skewers in water for 10 minutes.

  • Step 4: Chop up vegetables in similar size pieces to steak, then assemble kabobs over rimmed baking sheet.

  • Step 5: Preheat grill to medium heat, then brush kabobs with marinade. Place on grill and cook, uncovered, 3 minutes per side. Continue basting and turning until done to your liking, around 8-10 minutes.
