Step 1: Put 1" of water in bottom of double-boiler and bring to a boil.
Step 2: Put frosting ingredients in top of double-boiler and place over boiling water.
Step 3: Stir with your finger until you can't stand the heat (about 2 minutes), then pour into mixer bowl.
Step 4: Add vanilla and beat until smooth. Continue to beat until opaque and peaks form (about 7 minutes).
Step 5: Frost cake immediately.
