The ingredients are:
  • 2 1/2 cups Vanilla Wafers, crushed (250g box of Christies wafers = 2 1/2 cups)
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa
  • 1 1/4 cups icing sugar
  • 1/2 cup spiced rum
  • 2 tablespoons white corn syrup
  • 1 cup pecans or 1 cup walnuts, broken

How to Make

  • Step 1: Sift cocoa with 1 cup of the sugar

  • Step 2: Stir in the spiced rum

  • Step 3: Add crushed Vanilla wafers and nuts

  • Step 4: Mix thoroughly

  • Step 5: Shape mixture in walnut sized balls (two teaspoons work as does a melon baller)

  • Step 6: Dredge with remaining sugar or leave plain Store in air tight container
