Step 1: Pour boiling water over tomatoes to cover 3 minutes, drain. Pour over lemon juice and vanilla, mix.
Step 2: Mix spices, salt, flour and corn starch; mix into tomatoes toss like apples. Pour into 1 pie crust. Dot with butter.
Step 3: Top with other pie crust, vent.
Step 4: Bake 60 minutes at 400 degrees, cool.
