Step 1: Combine the garlic, chilli, soyu sauce and plum sauce in a microwave safe jug.
Step 2: Place beef in a glass or ceramic dish and pour half the sauce mixture over beef and turn to coat and cover and refrigerate for 1 hour to marinate.
Step 3: Heat oil in a frying pan over medium high heat and cook beef to your liking and then transfer to a plate, cover and set aside for 5 minutes to rest and then thinly slice or you could cook it on the barbecue/grill if you prefer.
Step 4: Microwave remaining sauce on medium for 2 minutes or until heated through or alternatively you could heat in a small pot on medium heat on the stove top.
Step 5: Arrange beef on a platter and serve with remaining sauce.
Step 6: ALTERNATIVE METHOD - slice meat and marinade in half the sauce and then drain meat, reserve marinade and stir fry meat in batches in a wok or large frying pan cooking it to your likeness. Remove meat from wok and then stir fry a heap of vegetables and then add the meat back in to warm through and mix well together and then add the reserved sauce and marinade and heat through and serve over noodles or rice.
