Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 pounds sea scallops
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoons marjoram or oregano

How to Make

  • Step 1: Combine flour, salt, and pepper in a pie plate. Dredge the scallops in the mixture.

  • Step 2: Saute the scallops (in batches if necessary) in hot oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes. Remove from pan. Reduce heat to medium.

  • Step 3: Combine the vinegar, honey and marjoram, add to the skillet and bring to a boil. Cook for about 2 minutes and return the scallops to the pan. Heat through.
