Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1/3 cup oil (olive oil)
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 2 teaspoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • Salt
  • Ground black pepper
  • 600 grams button mushrooms
  • 1/3 cup chopped fresh herbs (parsley, chives, tarragon)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven 220c.

  • Step 2: Combine olive oil, balsamic vinegar, garlic, brown sugar, sweet chilli sauce and salt and pepper in a screw-top jar, shake well to combine.

  • Step 3: Place the mushrooms into a large bowl and pour over the vinegar mixture.

  • Step 4: Toss mushrooms with mixture well to combine ingredients and mushrooms together.

  • Step 5: Spoon the mushrooms and marinade into a greased baking dish and roast for about 20- 25 minutes, tossing twice during cooking, or until the mushroom are tender.

  • Step 6: Sprinkle mushrooms with the herbs and serve.
