Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • CRUMB MIXTURE
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • STRAWBERRY MIXTURE
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 cup whipped cream

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat pan to 350 degrees. Grease a 9 x 13 pyrex dish with butter. Stir together crumb ingredients and spread in prepared dish, bake 20 minutes.

  • Step 2: In small mixer bowl, beat egg whites, gradually add sugar until stiff peaks form.

  • Step 3: Stir in sliced strawberries and lemon juice until mixture turns pink. Fold in whipped cream.

  • Step 4: Sprinkle 2/3 of crumbs in pyrex. Spoon strawberry mixture over crumbs. Sprinkle remaining crumbs on top. Freeze.

  • Step 5: To serve, thaw just a little so it's easier to cut.
