Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 3 pounds chicken pieces (bone-in, wings, drums, thighs)
  • 1 cup picante sauce (As mild or as hot as you like!)
  • 6 ounces frozen orange juice concentrate (thawed)
  • 2 tablespoons honey (OPTIONAL)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Black pepper (several grinds)

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a large ziplock bag, or covered dish, combine picante sauce, orange juice concentrate, honey, garlic powder, and pepper.

  • Step 2: Add chicken pieces to marinade in bag or dish.

  • Step 3: Refrigerate at least four hours, or overnight.

  • Step 4: Preheat oven to 325F.

  • Step 5: Transfer chicken to a Pyrex dish sprayed with cooking spray. Use a dish large enough so the chicken is in a single layer. Use two dishes if necessary.

  • Step 6: Discard marinade.

  • Step 7: Bake at 325F for 50-60 minutes, until done.
