  • 2 1/2 cups crushed pineapple, reserve liquid
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 box (6 ounce) strawberry Jell-O gelatin dessert (the big guy)
  • 12 large marshmallows
  • 2 cups cottage cheese (small curd)
  • 2 cups Cool Whip topping (or 1 cup cream, whipped)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Add water to liquid from pineapple to make 2 cups liquid.

  • Step 2: Combine with sugar and bring to a boil.

  • Step 3: Dissolve Jell-O and marshmallows in boiling liquid.

  • Step 4: Chill until partially set.

  • Step 5: Stir in pineapple and cottage cheese.

  • Step 6: Fold in Cool Whip or 1 cup cream whipped.

  • Step 7: Put in mold.

  • Step 8: Chill overnight.
