  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 6 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 can (12 ounce) poppy seed filling (solo)

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a large bowl, blend butter and cream cheese together. Add flour; you must mix by hand.

  • Step 2: When mixed, wrap dough and put in fridge overnight.

  • Step 3: Next day, take out 1/2 of the dough.

  • Step 4: Roll out on a floured board to 1/4 inch thickness. Put a little filling in the center and pinch edges together. Repeat with remaining 1/2 of the dough.

  • Step 5: Bake in a 350 degree Fahrenheit oven for 10 minutes.

  • Step 6: Check bottoms of cookies; they brown first. Tops may not look done but they are.
