Step 1: Soak wooden skewers and preheat grill.
Step 2: Combine sauce ingredients in saucepan and bring to a boil for five minutes. Split into two parts - one for basting and one for serving. That way you won't have any raw chicken bacteria transferred over at serving. Set aside.
Step 3: Meanwhile, chop chicken and green onions into bite sized pieces. Thread alternately on skewers.
Step 4: Brush skewers with basting sauce and place on grill. Turn and bast often. When done, brush again with basting sauce. Serve warm with sauce reserved for serving.
