The ingredients are:
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 whole onions, chopped
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 can (28 ounces/828 milliliters) diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 can (28 ounces/828 milliliters) kidney beans, undrained
  • 1 can (19 ounces/540 milliliters) tomato sauce
  • 1 cup dry macaroni
  • 1/3 cup banana pepper, pickled, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cheddar cheese, shredded (optional)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Sauté meat, onions and peppers in large saucepan until meat is no longer pink.

  • Step 2: Stir in remaining ingredients, except for cheese.

  • Step 4: Serve hot. Sprinkle each serving with cheese, if desired.
