Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 package (5.9 ounces) Rice-A-Roni (chicken and garlic flavored, if you can't find it use the regular Rice-A-Roni and add 1 teaspoon minced garlic)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 pound cooked chicken breast (diced)
  • 2 1/4 cups water
  • 1/4 cup reduced sodium teriyaki sauce(I used regular)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger,or to taste
  • 3/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 package (16 ounces) frozen vegetables (or as close as you can get frozen stir fry vegetable blend, thawed)

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a large skillet,saute rice mix in the 2 Tablespoons of butter until golden brown.

  • Step 2: Stir in the chicken,water,teriyaki sauce,ginger,crushed red pepper flakes and the seasoning packet ingredients.

  • Step 3: Then bring to a boil and reduce heat cover; and simmer for 10 minutes.

  • Step 4: Stir in vegetable blend,cover and cook for and additional 10 minutes or until vegetables are heated through.
