  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a cookie sheet.

  • Step 2: In large bowl, cream butter with both the sugars. Beat in in egg and vanilla. Scrape sides and whip until light and fluffy.

  • Step 3: Stir all dry ingredients together in a small bowl, then add to creamed mix, stirring until incorporated.

  • Step 4: Stir in chocolate chips into dough.

  • Step 5: Scoop onto cookie sheet.

  • Step 6: Bake 8-9 minutes. Cool cookies on the baking sheet, then remove to cool completely. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
