Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 pound cooked crab (crabmeat, I buy the kind in the can in the refrigerated unit)
  • 2/3 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 3/4 cup minced yellow onion
  • 1/3 cup fresh minced cilantro
  • 2 tablespoons low-fat mayonnaise
  • 2 large eggs (beaten)
  • 1 teaspoon cumin, ground
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Cooking spray
  • 6 (342 grams) English muffins (six muffins, light and toasted)
  • 6 tablespoons guacamole
  • Lettuce leaves (6 leaves)
  • 1 tomato (sliced into 6 slices)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

  • Step 2: Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.

  • Step 3: In a bowl combine the first 9 ingredients (crabmeat - cayenne).

  • Step 4: Scoop about 1/2 cup of the mixture and form into a 3/4 inch patty, repeat with remaining mixture until you make six patties. Spray tops of patties with Pam and place on prepared pan, sprayed side down, spray other side.

  • Step 5: Bake for 10 minutes and flip and bake another 10 minutes or until done.

  • Step 6: Serve burgers on English muffin topped with 1 tablespoon guacomole and lettuce and tomato.
