  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 1/4 cup oil (canola oil)
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 jar (6 ounce) carrot baby food (3rd foods)
  • 1 jar (6 ounce) apricot baby food
  • FROSTING
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup margarine
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups granulated sugar

How to Make

  • Step 1: BARS: Mix ingredients in order given. Pour into greased jelly roll pan.

  • Step 2: Bake @ 350 for 20-30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool before frosting.

  • Step 3: FROSTING: Soften cream cheese and margarine. Blend with hand mixer and add vanilla. Begin adding powdered sugar, add gradually until frosting is to spreading consistency (you may need to add more than 2 c. Spread over cooled bars).
