Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1/2 pound bacon (chopped into pieces)
  • 1/2 cup yellow onion, diced
  • 4 large garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1 to 2 jalapeno peppers, chopped (with seeds or without)
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
  • 3 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 F.

  • Step 2: Cook chopped bacon until crisp; remove to a bowl.

  • Step 3: Add in ground beef into the same pan, cook and brown over medium heat, drain any grease from pan. Add in around three-quarters of the cooked bacon pieces, the onions and garlic and jalapeno slices, sauté until vegies are tender and fragrant, around 3 minutes.

  • Step 4: To the hot mixture, mix in cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise until well blended.

  • Step 5: Add worcestershire sauce and ketchup, stir until well blended. Add salt to your taste.

  • Step 6: Fold in shredded mozzarella and pour into a baking dish.

  • Step 7: Top mixture with shredded cheddar and remaining bacon pieces.

  • Step 8: Bake in a oven until cheese is melted and dip is heated thoroughly, about 20 minutes.

  • Step 9: Serve warm with toasted baguette slices or crunchy pita chips.
