Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 pound ground beef (or hot sausage, breakfast)
  • 1 small onion (diced small)
  • 6 cups cabbage (cut up in large chunks)
  • 1 can (10 ounce) condensed tomato soup, undiluted
  • Salt and pepper to taste

How to Make

  • Step 1: Brown the hamburger with onion. Drain grease.

  • Step 2: Meanwhile, prepare the cabbage. Cut into bit size chunks.

  • Step 3: In a 2 quart casserole with a lid, spray with cooking spray. Lay 3 cups of cabbage on the bottom of casserole. Salt and pepper cabbage.

  • Step 4: Next make a layer of your browned hamburger with onions on top of cabbage and spread out evenly.

  • Step 5: Layer last 3 cups of cabbage over the hamburger. Salt and pepper cabbage.

  • Step 6: Top with undiluted tomato soup. Spread with spatula to cover the whole casserole dish.

  • Step 7: Make sure to cover the casserole tightly. Bake at 350° for 1 hour. Don't peak while its cooking, just let it cook for 1 hour!
