Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • DRESSING
  • 2 tablespoons teriyaki sauce (bottled)
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon fresh lemon juice (see tip below)
  • 1 tablespoon oil (vegetable oil)
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh grated gingerroot
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • Garnish: toasted sesame seeds
  • 4 ounces dry linguine pasta (cooked according to directions. Rinse & drain)
  • SALAD
  • 1/2 cup cooked crab, chopped (lump crab meat, or chopped chicken breast)
  • 2 cups green cabbage, coarsely shredded (or Napa cabbage (1/2 cup red cabbage, if desired)
  • 1/2 cup cucumber, thinly sliced (seeded)
  • 1/2 cup carrots, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons red onion, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
  • Crisp Bread Sticks (purchased)

How to Make

  • Step 1: While cooking pasta, whisk together dressing ingredients in large bowl & set aside.

  • Step 2: Add rinsed & drained pasta, crab meat or chicken.

  • Step 3: Add remaining ingredients to bowl with prepared dressing.

  • Step 4: Toss gently to mix & coat.

  • Step 5: Chill 30 minutes before serving.

  • Step 6: Serve on 2 dinner plates.

  • Step 7: Garnish with toasted sesame seeds and serve with bread sticks.
