Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 tablespoon oil (vegetable oil)
  • 3 ounces bacon (3 slices streaky bacon cut into bite-sized pieces, she did 6)
  • 3 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 pound frozen green beans (she did fresh left whole)
  • 1 large yellow onion, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon Creole seasoning

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat oil in a frying pan. Add the bacon, onion, garlic plus parsley & sauté until onion is soft & golden brown.

  • Step 2: Add the beans, salt to taste preference & Creole seasoning. Reduce heat to low & cook gently for about 30 min or until beans are soft (Add a small amount of water if needed to keep the beans from sticking to the bottom of the pan.
