Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 gallon water
  • Hibiscus flowers, dried (10-15)
  • 1 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 whole lemon
  • Ice cubes

How to Make

  • Step 1: Bring to a rapid boil one gallon of water in a large pot.

  • Step 2: Remove water from stove

  • Step 3: Drop all flowers into the hot water long enough for the red color to remove from the flower. (they had fresh ones ,were using dried) Remove the flowers from the water. The water will turn brown.

  • Step 4: Squeeze the lemon into the water. The water will turn bright red. Add sugar, stir and let cool. poor over ice
