Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 8 bacon slices (diced, or more if you like)
  • 3 medium russet potatoes (1/2-inch diced)
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 small yellow onion, diced
  • Salt & pepper
  • Pinch cayenne (OPTIONAL)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Fry the bacon in a large deep skillet over medium-high heat until evenly browned and crisp. Remove from the pan.

  • Step 2: To the same skillet, add the potatoes and onions to the bacon drippings. Season with garlic powder, salt & pepper and cayenne (if your using it). Reduce the heat to medium, and cook the potatoes for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender and browned.

  • Step 3: Top with cooked bacon over the top before serving.
