Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
  • 6 ounces dry egg noodles (medium)
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 12 ounces raw pork (lean pork, cut into strips)
  • 1 inch piece ginger root, peeled and chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 1 cup fresh snow peas (or green beans)
  • 1 large carrot, cut into strips
  • 1 3/4 cup been sprouts

How to Make

  • Step 1: Place the ketchup, sugar and vinegar in a small sauce pan and heat gently for 2-3 minutes until the sugar has dissolved; set aside.

  • Step 2: Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.

  • Step 3: Heat the oil in a wok or large skillet and cook the pork strips over high heat for 2-3 minutes until beginning to turn golden, then add the ginger, garlic, snow peas and carrot.

  • Step 4: Stir-fry an additional 2 minutes then add the bean sprouts and stir-fry for 1 more minute until piping hot.

  • Step 5: Add the warm drained noodles and sauce and toss over the heat, using 2 spoons to mix really well, and heat through.

  • Step 6: Enjoy!
