  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 4 tablespoons cider vinegar
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 3 egg whites
  • 1 pie crust (unbaked)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Bake the pie crust.

  • Step 2: In saucepan, mix sugar, flour, vinegar, extracts, egg yolks and butter over boiling water (double boiler) with whisk. Cook until nice and thick. Pour into baked pie shell.

  • Step 3: Beat egg whites. Top pie.

  • Step 4: Brown in oven.
