Step 1: Mix sugar, milk and salt over low heat; bring to boil, stir constantly for 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
Step 2: Add marshmallows, nuts, chocolate and vanilla; stir until marshmallows melt.
Step 3: For 2 rolls. Sprinkle 1/2 cup nuts onto waxed paper, quickly spoon fudge onto nuts. Form into roll, cover all sides of nuts. Repeat with rest of nuts and fudge so that you have 2 rolls. Cool and slice.
Step 4: Just fudge: pour into 9 inch buttered square pan. Cool and cut into squares, now you can stop now and cut into square here after its cooled or made the roll.
