Step 1: Preaheat oven to 400. Cut the kielbasa into 1/4-1/2 inch slices. Place single file on a cookie sheet. Bake the bottoms of the kielbasa until slightly brown, then flip over to brown the other side. When brown on both sides, take them out of the oven. (I do them all in 2 batches). Set aside.
Step 2: If eating within an hour or so, add the brown sugar, mustards, red pepper powder/chili powder to the crock pot, and mix well.
Step 3: Turn on the crock pot to high, add the kielbasa, and let the sauce get hot. When the sauce starts to boil, turn the heat down to low. Every once in awhile mix up the kielbasa into the sauce so the flavors blend.
Step 4: NOTE: If you are not eating right away, wait to put the kielbasa into the crock pot. About 1 hour before serving, mix up the ingredients in the crock pot, and put heat on high, and bring to a boil. Add the kielbasa, and when everything is heated through, turn the heat down to low until ready to serve. Every once in awhile mix up the kielbasa into the sauce so the flavors blend.
