Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 6 cups chicken broth
  • 2/3 cup dry orzo
  • 1 carrot, diced
  • 1 1/2 cups asparagus, diagonally sliced
  • 1 cup frozen green peas
  • 4 scallions, sliced
  • 1/3 cup fresh dill, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a large saucepan bring the broth to a boil over high heat.

  • Step 2: Stir in orzo and carrot and boil for 7 minutes.

  • Step 3: Stir in asparagus and peas and boil until vegetables are tender and orzo is cooked (3-5 minutes).

  • Step 4: Remove from heat and stir in the remainder of the ingredients (scallions - pepper).
