Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1/2 cup yellow onions, minced
  • 2 celery stalks, finely chopped (leaves and all)
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour (or 1/4 cup cornstarch)
  • 3 cups chicken stock
  • 3 cups cooked turkey breast, chopped
  • 1 cup frozen peas and carrots
  • 2 cups frozen green beans
  • 2 cups cooked potatoes, cubed
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 teaspoon sage
  • 1/2 teaspoon rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon parsley
  • 2 pie crusts
  • TOPPING
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

How to Make

  • Step 1: With Pam, saute onion garlic and celery until limp.

  • Step 2: In saucepan whisk flour and stock ,bring to a boil, cook until thickened. Add herbs and spices and frozen veggies, sauteed veggies and turkey; fold in.

  • Step 3: Preheat oven to 425F.

  • Step 4: Put into bottom deep dish pie shell.

  • Step 5: Top with other pie crust. Brush with egg sprinkle salt on top.

  • Step 6: Bake 30 minutes or until browned.
