  • 1 yellow onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, mashed
  • 1 jalepeno pepper, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, crushed
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • Saffron, 1 pinch
  • 2 cups lentils (dry)
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
  • 2 cups pumpkin, cubed (fresh)
  • 3 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 carrot, sliced
  • 6 cups stock
  • Garnish
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped

How to Make

  • Step 1: Saute the onion, garlic ,ginger and jalapeno until soft.

  • Step 2: Heat spices and tomato paste. Add with rest of ingredients into crockpot. Cook on low.
